Text Messaging Terms

These terms cover the LimoLinkX platform and its passenger, chauffeur and dispatch apps. Last updated 18 September 2026. Questions: support@limolinkx.com

What the programme is

Transportation operators using LimoLinkX send passengers service text messages about their own reservation. This is a transactional programme: there is no marketing or promotional texting.

Messages you can expect

Booking received and confirmed, chauffeur assigned, chauffeur on the way, chauffeur has arrived, trip started, trip completed and a live tracking link. Operators also receive a text when a new booking is submitted.

How passengers opt in

A passenger opts in by entering their mobile number on the operator's booking form and ticking the box that reads “Text me trip updates at this number”. The box is never ticked in advance. Passengers may also give their consent verbally or in writing to the operator when a reservation is taken by phone.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies by trip. Expect up to approximately six messages per reservation.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. The operator does not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages at that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact the operator directly using the phone number and email on your booking confirmation. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your reservation, and trip updates will continue by email.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers are used only for these service messages. They are not sold, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
